  • Description: Provides a monthly box of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) food to low-income seniors. Participant misses distribution day, they can pick up food from a different location. Food boxes include a wide variety of foods. Participants receive approximately 30 pounds of food each month. Please visit the Food Locator website to search for information.

    Low-income seniors should sign up for weekly distribution. As well as the monthly Supplemental Food Program.

  • Requirements: New applicants must provide proof of identity and age AND proof of Bay Area residency AND self-certify their income is at or below 130% of the federal poverty level. Enrolled participants must bring ID (one of the following: driver's license, ID card, passport, birth certificate, Medi-Cal card, or any official document with name) AND program card to site to receive food box. Re-certifying participants must provide ID, program card, and self-certify their income is at or below 130% of the federal poverty level.
